Trait Model
The 6+1 writing traits was
developed by a group of teachers in Beaverton, Oregon and
Missoula. They looked at many samples of children's
writing and identified 6+1 traits that good writers use.
The traits are; Ideas, Organization, Voice, Sentence Fluency,
Conventions and the +1 Presentation.
